Getting a library card

"I’m so excited! My older brother took me to our local library, Albion Library, while he was browsing for books one day. He encouraged me to get a library card, so on our next visit, I picked up some Anime graphic novels. He used to get so upset with me because I would spend my summers, weekends, and evenings endlessly watching YouTube or playing video games, but at least now I get to read about the things I love. I really like this library because it gets the books I want super quickly, and I can even place holds and pick them up with my brother as soon as they arrive. I learned that I actually read much faster than I thought, so now I visit the library more often than my brother would like, haha, but it’s so much better than how I used to waste my time. I hope to get my friends hooked on books like I am, though they think it’s boring for now."
