It’s a great way to spend a weekend morning

“What do you love most about this library?”
This library feels like it has a space that kids can call all their own, with a whole floor just for their books and places to play. Other libraries do wonderful things with their kid spaces too, but this feels a bit more special because it’s so separated.

“Can you share a favourite memory from this branch?”
I don’t have just one favourite memory, rather a collection – when we visit for story time on Saturdays, and I see how my daughter has changed since our last visit. She gets a bit more bold with where she sits, a bit more animated and interested in the story or the jokes. It’s a sweet way to mark the passage of time.

“How has the library made a difference in your life or neighbourhood?”
I don’t live in the area, but we’re not far and enjoy going a bit out of our way to visit this space – it’s a great way to spend a weekend morning, or an afternoon with crappy weather when we’ve run out of ideas!

“If this library were a person, how would you describe its personality?”
This library would be a kind, warm person. Someone that gives nice big hugs and probably has a drawer full of the best snacks.
